Kung Fu

For weeks and weeks, actually months I've been hearing about Kung Fu panda from friends, my kids and michelle.  One of my friends even called it a "spiritual experience".  So, it came out today, at 12:01 to be exact.  I was tempted to wake winston, our night owl, and go get it, along with some donuts and watch it but i resisted.
We did pick it up this afternoon, invited the whole family over and watched it on The Wall at mom's.  Way fun.  I like Jack Black, he is funny and has a big belly.  We all laughed, PoPo of course thought it was cute!

THE BIG CONTEST

Here it is- the song contest.  Seeing as how I really like to give stuff away and I also am developing my hidden singing talents, I decided to combine the 2 and thus, this contest!  Vote Away!

Singing.....

Nora the hairdresser

One time, about 13 years ago michelle and I went on an Amor Mexico Mission trip with Mountain Park Church from Lake Oswego, OR, it was 1 week after ODF went on an Amor Mission trip.  When we were there some girls on the trip but all kinds of braids in my hair while we were in line at Magic Mountain(This was after the "Mission Trip" part was over of course).... So, when we get home, we go over to our friends- The Bachali's and sure enough, unbeknownst to me, Matthew had the same thing done, I am searching for a photo of it.....  Until then, enjoy this photo from tonight and Eleanor the future hairdresser.

Messing around with my new MacBook

Michelle and I converted to Mac's about 2 1/2 years ago and have never looked back.  After much trial, patience, frustration, tears a few of my fellow homies in the ODF office are switching to Mac's as well.  This week I received a new Mac Book, the 13" BLACK version.  It's looks pretty sweet.  Even thought I can go back and forth on electronics and their role in our lives----- This is a good thing.  It is however simply a tool- it does not change ME- my character is solid, my identity secure, it will not really make me better at golfing either.  BUT, and that's a pretty BIG BUT-  It will be an effective tool to communicate about FUN things, crazy happenings, this amazing environment I live and work in etc......
Having said that, I drummed up some photos.....

First Shot

Getaway

Student Ministries leadership getaway.  Always an anticipated event for our team.  We really kinda like each other.  Yipee.  Sooooo, Mountain Meadow Ranch was our setting to play, dream, plan, eat, laugh and go deeper.
Hope you all enjoyed yourselves and enjoy the photos from our weekend.
